The window message says Happy New Year, but it was blinky and hard to capture. 

The manager.  He performed a traditional song and made sure everyone was totally stuffed and happy.  Good people, good food, good way to ring in the new year.

Today began early with a false alarm for attack before 6 am...then I skyped with my Grandmother stateside...the morning progressed into an unscheduled exam...morphed into a late afternoon/early evening earthquake...and THANKFULLY was topped off by Belgian chocolate.

What a day!
