The Atomium is a structure that was built for the World's Fair in the late 1950's. It was futuristic, but never meant to endure. It was salvaged as a historic relic. How cool! There is a restaurant in the top, but I didn't have reservations, so this warrants another visit in the future. The first sphere offers a 360 degree view of the entirety of Brussels.
