U.A.E. Day 277: A Sweet Surprise

My work bestie left this on my desk so I would have a nice surprise when I got out of class.  She's really thoughtful and kind.  I am lucky!

Red papertowels, Arabic fridge letters, pink q-tips for my sister, and kandora (male dress) wipes to keep your kandora looking perfectly white.  The purple box is the version for women.  

U.A.E. Day 273: What goes around comes around...

One of the Emirati Faculty who teaches Arabic asked me to give some professional development session in advanced English conversation to help the faculty polish up their English.  I was glad to do it and ran it for several weeks.  As a thank you, he left this book (its huge) on my desk.  It is really nice to have colleagues who are thoughtful and appreciative of my effort.  :D
