Afghanistan Day 48: Camp Dogan (July 9)

Went to the Turkish base.  It was really delightful.
BEST DEFAC EVER!  Seriously, this meal was the best mess hall food I've ever had, way better than US defac.  I want to live there.  Forever!

    I would love to go to Turkey!!! Lynn from Hair for All Seasons lived there for quite a while when her dad was a pilot. She just loved it. She said the people were dear and welcoming. She would go back in a minute. the food does look excellent. I bet that was worth the trip! How wonderful you can experience all these things. Keep safety first but enjoy the ride too. Love, MOM
