Afghanistan Day 64: Kabul (July 24)

I don't know why this was such an item of fascination for me at the visit to American University Kabul, but I was really curious about the girls locker room at the gym.  Its a random thing to photograph, I am well aware.  Still, here they are:

  1. That locker room is surely the most feminine I have ever seen. I love the beautiful blue ceiling. I really enjoy your blog, Lark. Laurie

  2. Oh I am glad! :D I liked the locker room, too. I wish the equipment section was bigger, but it is a start!

  3. Is this for American students studying abroad there or for Afghan students...or both? Looks pretty good.....maybe you could get a good shower there some day!

  4. Afghan local national students attending American University Kabul. American University just means that the school is on a US credit hour system and uses western instructional methods...none of the American Universities are connected. No Americans actually attend, although many teach/work there.
