London Day 32: Shakespeare's Birthplace

wooly sheep (with stick legs)

A book owned by the Shakespeare family when he was little.

model of the Globe

First edition of First Folio

Stone floor he walked on.

His family made leather gloves.

The canvas covering the walls is there to reduce the draft from the cracks in the house.

night night, sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite! Trundle for children, bed for parents.

original ceiling still in tact!

Reciting Romeo & Juliette for me.  :D

Candy man sneaks samples to all the children while parents are not looking.  It is adorable.

Marshmellow candy is really popular here.  Marshmellow kabobs, pizza slices, and sandwiches.

Marshmellow.  I didn't try any.

Makes the world taste good...

Candy shops here sell poptarts, fruitloops, soda, and  fluff as part of their candy selection.

all the buildings lean a bit.
