Camp Bullis: Day 10

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

We were summoned from sleep at four a.m. - and we hit the ground running. 45 people got dressed, armored, ran up hill a quarter mile and rallied in 8 minutes. To our delight, we set the all-time record for surprise attack response ( no forewarning or rehearsal or even predetermined combat ops).

The mission began with night land nav with a danger crossing. Then we made it to our transport (I was the driver of the hmmwv) which eventually was hit by an ied. This was coupled with a complex fire attack- forcing us into a building which we had to secure.

Conducting 9 line, lace, and calming down.

After that, we went to transport and conducted tactical combat care and urban tactics ( securing another building). Then we had to haul a litter with our concluding land nav.

360 security

We finished off the afternoon with patriotic sugar cookies.
